Benefits of SLAs for Db2 Professionals

Short Abstract:
How to predict performance problem in design phase. This presentation will address Db2 for z/OS management and tuning. Should we start with the SLA expectations in design phase? 
We will start with data modeling, database design, testing ... and what Db2 has with ITIL and GDPR.
Abstract:
Many times if you ask how to fix the performance problem the answer is "It depends". We should start our design having final performance expectations as our design goals This presentation will address Db2 for z/OS management and tuning. We will start with data modeling, database design, testing .... and end with performance monitoring suggestions. We will touch areas of application, database and system performance. Some aspects of data masking scenarios will be mentioned too. If we are talking about standards what is ITIL? Do we need continuous education for developers, DBAs …. ?
Speaker Bio:
Zeljen Stanic has been in IT more than 34  years. Was working on different positions such as programmer, developer and DBA for Db2 and IMS. He is the member of DB Management team at CA EMEA Technical Sales - Mainframe Center of Competence. Currently he is representing CA at EMEA IDUG CPC .With SQL/DS was working from 1983, with Db2 started to work in 1989. Started to work for Platinum Technology in 1995 as a consultant for Db2 and Db2 tools. After Platinum acquisition in 1999 works for CA, supporting DBM solutions as well as other mainframe solutions. Was supporting Db2 customers in EMEA: Croatia, Slovenia, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Holland, Finland, Norway, Switzerland, Germany, Russia, Spain, Portugal, Serbia, Belgium, Turkey, Greece, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait . Speaker on numerous Db2 User groups and Db2 conferences.
